Polishing pads are designed to be used in conjunction with a machine polisher in order to apply liquid compound to a surface. When machine polishing your paintwork, choosing the right car polishing pads is key. The stiffness of a foam polishing pad will have a different effect on the paintwork surface, the heavier the cut, the more abrasive the pad will be. We have a range of pads from coarse to ultra fine as well as wool pads and those specifically made for glass surfaces. 

Wool polishing pads are rougher than foam pads with a superior cutting effect. They are generally made from synthetic or natural wool fibres and require a lot of skill to use and maintain their condition. Lambswool has the highest abrasiveness and is therefore ideally suited for removing the effects of severe weathering, deep scratches and sanding traces. They are optimally suited to working with heavy cut compounds.

The RUPES Yellow Medium Wool Polishing Pad is designed to remove light scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation from all paintwork. Made from short and dense wool with foam backing, this pad is ideal for use with with light to medium cutting BigFoot polishing compound. The special design of the wool and foam provides maximum product coverage and excellent correction power, helping you achieve the highest quality polishing results.

The 3M Wool Compounding Pad is a single sided, 100% wool pad featuring the hook and loop attachment system. The 100% wool and untwisted yarn construction offers a fast and more aggressive cut. This is a superb pad for stepping up the level of cut for tougher or severely weathered paints. 133mm fine wool pad with the 3M Hookit trade; attachment system pad is pre-washed to reduce lint stitched onto polyester backing material.

The Koch Chemie Wool Pads are extra thick and non-pilling (lint-free) natural lambswool pads for use alongside their incomparable polishing compounds. Lambswool is the polishing medium with the highest abrasiveness and is therefore ideally suited for removing the effects of severe weathering, deep scratches and sanding traces.
