What is an applicator pad? A polish applicator pad is a foam or microfibre pad that is designed to apply liquid or paste product to your vehicle’s surface. Our range of polish applicator pads will give you a hand in practically and professionally applying product such as waxes and polishes. Give your car the finishing touches it deserves!
Way back when, when people were using fairy liquid, an old rusty bucket, and a chamois leather to clean cars, waxes and other liquid products were applied with the tail of an old shirt. This poses a risk to the paintwork and may cause scratching and swirl marks due to the product not distributing evenly. An applicator pad is specially designed to do just this and have little effect on the surface of your vehicle, giving you something that’s easy to hold onto and use.
The Auto Finesse Wax Mate XL may look like any other applicator, but it's not. For years we have put up applying waxes with applicators not suited to the pots most hard waxes are poured in, an oversized applicator usually results in uneven loading and only using around 1/3 or 1/2 of the surface at best. Auto Finesse's new Wax Mate has been specially engineered to fit the exact diameter of their new 150g wax tins, meaning a simple quarter twist covers the whole face and ensures you get a better, more even coverage when using our hard waxes. Its design also lends itself to be much more comfortable to use from the raised grip platform and can be compressed down and stored in the top of the wax pot for next time.
Chemical Guys Premium Grade Microfibre Applicator is designed to easily apply waxes, sealants, glazes, dressings, and more. Made so that edges do not scratch your paintwork, the applicator pad is inside stitched two times so that edges never come into contact with surfaces. Premium 100% machine washable microfiber fabric is wrapped around a plush, durafoam pad that is engineered to deliver just the right amount of pressure to easily mould itself to the surface applying just the right amount of product. The foam will not absorb too much product hence reducing waste and maximising efficiency.
