A sealant is a protective product used in the final stage of detailing that is made up of polymers. Most sealants are made to form a chemical or covalent bond to the surface of your paintwork which allows the sealant to last longer than a traditional wax. Sealants also offer you stronger protection from the elements. Despite sounding scientific with phrases such as ‘chemical bonding’, paint sealants can actually be easy to apply. Some of our sealants will have YouTube videos attached which will tell you all you need to know about how to apply them safely and properly.

Some wheel sealants, such as Gtechniq Wheel Armour, use a unique chemical bond, which enables your rims to become repellent to dirt, brake dust and contamination. This enables the maintenance of your wheels to be much easier, with less dirt being able to attach itself to your wheels. A single application can last up to a whole year!

All wheel sealants aim to protect, improve, and maintain the look of your wheels. They apply a clear film-like barrier against dirt, brake dust, tar, bugs, water, and anything else that may dull or damage your wheels. When applied correctly, wheel sealants can give new life back to older wheels by leaving a deep, glossy look to them.

After the application of a wheel sealant, future wheel cleaning becomes a breeze! Dirt will be repelled from the surface and any contaminants that do stick themselves to wheels will be easily washed away during your normal vehicle wash process. It is thanks to this special formula that makes maintenance easier, with a single application lasting up to one year! 15ml of C5 Wheel Armour will cover a set of rim faces only, up to 17 inches. 30ml of C5 Wheel Armour will cover a set of rim faces inside and out, up to 20 inches.
