Latest Service Update – Easter/COVID-19 Update

Please be aware we will be closed from Good Friday (2^nd April) to Easter Monday (5^th April), orders placed during this time will be shipped from Tuesday 6^th.

With a four day weekend Easter is an exceptionally busy time of year so we are unable to guarantee next day delivery. If you are chasing an order, please allow at least 3 working days to pass before doing this as couriers remain under extreme pressure at the moment. 

Our staff are very busy on the phones, we know it is frustrating when you cannot get through, so please, if you need to contact us only do so by email, we can respond same day in most cases.

Our shops are still closed as per government guidelines but we are able to accept online orders for local collection but please leave at least two hours or wait to be contacted by our customer service team before going to your chosen branch to collect your order.  We are unable to add to or amend collections once you arrive on site. Please observe social distancing guidelines.

We are planning to re-open our shops on 12th April, so please keep an eye on our social media channels for the most up to date information.

Shipping outside of the UK is still temporarily suspended whilst we work our way through the new export guidelines.

Our Training Academy is still closed.

UPDATE 07/01/2021

Happy New Year from all of us at Slim’s Detailing, we hope you had the best Christmas possible.

We are packing all orders ready for same day despatch however our couriers remain very busy so they are unable to guarantee next day delivery. Previous Tier 4 restrictions no longer apply and our couriers have confirmed they are now delivering to all areas of the UK.

If you are chasing a delivery, please allow at least 3 working days to pass before doing this as couriers are under extreme pressure at the moment.

UPDATE: 30/11/2020

Please note that both our shops at Enfield and Coventry will remain closed until Friday 4th December. 

We are currently working our way through your Black Friday orders, please bear with us, we are dispatching as many orders as possible whilst keeping our staff safe. 

UPDATE: 24/11/2020

We are currently packing all orders same day ready for despatch but Black Friday is a busy time!

Our couriers have already warned us that arranged time deliveries will be unlikely to be fulfilled now and into the Festive Season and next day will be difficult to manage nationally. We will struggle to answer telephone calls during this period so please, if you need to contact us only do so by email and allow at least 3 working days to pass before chasing orders.

Our shops remain closed but will hopefully re-open in December.

UPDATE: 14/10/2020

We are pleased to say that our despatch team are keeping up to date with orders and have been getting all orders placed before 3pm Monday - Friday on to our regular courier that same day.

Most of the orders are then delivered next working day Mon-Fri unless the courier is experiencing heavier than normal volumes on that day.

For this reason we still cannot guarantee next day delivery currently but over 95% of our parcels are actually being delivered next day.

If you would rather visit one of our shops in Coventry or Enfield, both are open 9am-4pm Monday - Friday starting 19^th October. Both shops are operating safe distancing with only one customer allowed in at a time and masks must be worn as per government guidelines. If you are visiting, please be prepared to wait for a short time whilst we aim to keep you and our staff safe.
