Colourlock Leather Glue Repair Set
The Leather Glue Repair Set from Colourlock is a collection of the most important components for a solid repair foundation. The leather glue is a high-quality adhesive that is ideal for bonding the front and back of tears and holes in leather surfaces. It is also perfectly suited for securely bonding down protruding leather edges or leather fibres.
For larger but still repairable tears and holes, we recommend stabilising the area by reinforcing it with a piece of fabric (approx. 15 x 25cm). With a 20g container, the leather glue provides enough material to repair several centimetres of tears and permanently reinforce multiple tear sites. The product ensures a reliable bond and contributes to the long-term maintenance of your leather surfaces.

Application areas: Leather repair, repairing tears in leather
Recommended use: For the preparation and repair of creases and cracks, apply Leather Glue sparingly and in a thin layer – use the included brushes to spread the glue in small creases or hard-to-reach areas, and allow the glue to dry briefly. Align tears edge to edge or – if possible – bond them together with fabric and light pressure.
To repair larger tears and holes, backing with fabric is required as this stabilises the affected area. Cut the fabric to size with an overlap, mark the centre of the fabric with a highlighter or sticker to ensure even positioning and secure this centre with a pin. Smooth the edges under the leather, then glue in place and let it dry.
For cuts, tears or frayed areas, follow the same procedure as for tears – apply fabric backing, use adhesive sparingly, secure well and let dry. The more precise your work is, the less noticeable the repair will be. Allow plenty of time for drying and apply light pressure to the affected area to improve durability.
