Slim's Detailing Waxstock Alternative 2022

Hi all! As you may be aware, the long awaited Waxstock has been rescheduled for Sunday 5th June. This falls at the end of the four-day weekend for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

We regret to inform you that Slim's will not be in attendance this year. We are gutted we cannot make it as we absolutely love the chaotic Waxstock weekend. We so enjoy getting to meet you all and introducing new product releases from our fantastic suppliers. We wanted the chance to explain to you why you won't see Slim’s at this year's event but we hope to be back in 2023!

The timing of the event on the Jubilee weekend has made it impossible for us to attend the show and keep on top of our online orders. Whenever we have a four day weekend, such as Easter, and or the Christmas break, our team will still work some of these days in order to not have a massive back log of orders once the weekend is over. Unfortunately, we do not have the time to set up on Saturday, exhibit on Sunday, then restock our warehouse post-show on the Monday while continuing business as normal.

However, we do have some good news! Our Coventry branch has chosen to open on Sunday the 5th in order to dispatch some of those online orders to help us stay on track. We have made the decision to open to the public on this day so that, should you wish, you can call in to see us before or after the event!

Our Coventry branch is located less than a 10 minute drive from the Coventry Arena where Waxstock takes place. We will be running our Jubilee Offer in store so you can pick up deals much as you would if we had been at Waxstock. We will also be serving light refreshments throughout the day so come and have a drink with us!

We look forward to being able to join Waxstock in 2023 and we hope to see some of you in store on the 5th of June!
