Polish out paint scratches and remove old and oxidised paint with any one of our professional grade cutting compounds. Rejuvenate paintwork and restore your vehicle to its showroom shine. Polishing compounds come in several different grades ranging from heavy cut to micro cut. Different grades of polish will provide different results and the softness of the vehicle’s paint will also have an effect on the finished result.

A heavy cut polish will repair heavier imperfections such as deeper surfaces scratches. Typically, the higher the cut the lower the gloss although intensive research into formulations have been able to make huge improvements in the finish of heavy cut polishes. It is still recommended to refine down the scale. For example, after using a heavy cut, move onto a medium cut before finishing with a finishing compound for the ultimate paintwork appearance.

Koch Chemie H8 Heavy Cut Compound is an innovative machine polish for fast reworking of heavily weathered paintwork, elimination of deep scratches, and effective removal of paint mists and sanding traces of up to 1,500 grain. With its extremely homogeneous abrasive grain, Heavy Cut 8.02 achieves an extremely high level of cut with an excellent gloss level. Can be polished for prolonged periods without sticking and with low dust formation. Ideally suited to all types of paint (both soft and scratch-proof).

RUPES DA Coarse High Performance Polishing Compound is suitable for those wanting to achieve a fast acting cut for quick defect removal and a smooth user experience. It creates very little dust in use and is clean and quick to wipe up. It will create a high gloss finish used with Big Foot dual action, random orbital, and gear driven orbital tools. For best results use RUPES coarse foam, wool,or microfibre pads. DA Coarse will remove scratches up to 1500g in most painted or gelcoat surfaces. Bodyshop safe no silicones.
